So far my first semester in the DSA has been great. I’ve been doing graphic design, photography, Learning Photoshop, doing my history of our families project (H.O.O.F. for short), and my personal favorite, starting 3D Design. I like 3D design the best because it’s something that I always wanted to do since I was in the 8th Grade. Now I did it and it’s really fun, and I think I’m good at it too. Something else I liked this semester in the DSA is making the music for my H.O.O.F. project. I really enjoyed it because I’m a musician and I enjoy it. I hope the second semester is as good as the first one.

This is my cd cover for the h.o.o.f. project. the way I did this was to come up with ten different songs. Real or made up. The ones that I picked are actual songs. Next I had to get some pictures that I would use to design the cover. The sonic (blue hedgehog) and the super smash bros. (group of characters) picture represents that I like video games, the tyler perry movie cover represents that I am a fan of Tyler Perry’s movies. The michael jackson picture represents that i’m a michael jackson fan, and the crown represents my family. Being that my last name is King, that is why I have the crown. And of course I had to post it onto my blog. Hope u like it and please comment.

This was not easy. I basically had to take the moon, town, and boat/river and put them together to make the fourth picture. Then I had to use a thing called hue/saturation to color the whole thing black and white. And finally, I had to go back and recolor the boat to it’s original color. Like I said IT WASN’T EASY!!!!!!!!! Possibly one of the most difficult quizzes i’ve ever had in the DSA so far. Yes this was a quiz. But I did it. I did it, and it felt great finally finished it.

September 15, 2009I think that so far that this has been pretty fun, but all we’ve been doing so far is just photoshop. When are we going to do something else because it has been fun for a while doing photoshop but it’s starting to get a little boring.
